Meet Me in the Mountains: New Store in Estes Park

October marks an exciting milestone for Rocky Mountain Olive Oil – we’ve opened a new store in Estes Park!

Estes Park is the quintessential Colorado mountain town, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, and a truly magical place. Our new store is nestled in the heart of downtown, surrounded by delicious restaurants, unique shops and of course, incredible mountains.

Shaun and I are overjoyed to be a part of the Estes Park community. We've been moved by the warm welcome we’ve received. While renovating the shop, we’ve gotten to meet a lot of locals and enjoyed yummy food at neighboring restaurants (especially Penelope’s Old Time Burgers, yum!).

The store required a lot of work before opening. There were many long days of driving up to Estes, painting and organizing the store, then rushing back down the mountain to do the kid shuffle after school. But I can’t complain too much. The drive up to Estes Park is incredibly beautiful. I’ve gotten plenty of time to enjoy the fall leaves and lovely Colorado autumn weather on the drives up and down the mountain.

We still have a few finishing touches to do, but the space turned out nice. The décor is earthy and woodsy – very Colorado – with a touch of moody to reflect the changeable weather of the mountains.

Like our other stores, the Estes Park location offers olive oils from all over the world along with authentic balsamic vinegars from Modena, Italy. This location also carries a variety of other gourmet goodies from across Colorado! Hot sauces, spice blends, freeze-dried candy – we really do have something for everyone. We want this store to be a place visitors can find special gifts for friends and family, but also a place locals can stop by to stock up on kitchen essentials and their favorite local treats.

This store wouldn’t have happened without our incredible team. I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped us make this new store happen, with a special shoutout to our manager Paul, who led the charge on transitioning inventory to the store. It wasn’t an easy task!

Next time you venture to Estes Park to take in the vibrant fall leaves and bright snowcapped mountains, stop by our new location for a visit. Pick up a bottle, or two, or three of olive oil, taste some delicious balsamics and indulge in other local Colorado goodies. We look forward to seeing you!

Caio!
