Rocky Mountain Olive Oil Pasta con Aglio e Olio

Nothing beats simple pasta dressed with ultra premium extra virgin olive oil. Whip this up for a quick family meal or date night dish and you'll be sure to impress.
 
I N G R E D I E N T S :
· 4 garlic cloves, cut into thirds
· 2 lb spaghetti
· ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
· Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
· Freshly chopped parsley to garnish, optional
D I R E C T I O N S :
  1. Boil a large pot of water with a few hefty pinches of salt. Once boiling add the spaghetti and cook per package instructions until al dente.
  2. While the spaghetti boils, heat the Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a large pan over medium high heat. While the olive oil is heating, cut up the garlic. Sauté the garlic in the Extra Virgin Olive Oil until lightly browned, 3-5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
  3. Once done, drain the spaghetti and add it to the pan with the Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Toss the pasta with the olive oil and garlic until evenly coated. Add red pepper, salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired and enjoy immediately.
