Apple Garlic Broccoli Slaw
Broccoli, carrots and apples are mixed with our Garlic Infused Olive Oil and Apple Dark Balsamic Vinegar. The result is a sweet and tart veggie filled dish, with a nice crunchy texture. This delicious, easy to make recipe is great on it's own with a protein tossed over it, or it can be your next go to side dish to make at home or share at potlucks. It's also a great topper for fried or grilled chicken sammis. The perfect way to avoid your oven in these hot fall afternoons!
INGREDIENTS:
2 medium red apples, cut into match sticks or smaller
4 green onion stalks, sliced
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl, combine broccoli slaw bags, apples and green onions. Toss well and set aside. In a separate bowl, add Red Apple Balsamic, mustard and House Blend Salt. Whisk together. Whisk in Garlic Olive Oil until completely blended and thickened. Pour liquid mixture over apple slaw mixture. Stir well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving. Enjoy!
Pro Tip: This tastes best 12 -24 hours after being made and mixed.
