Pumpkin Walnut Streusel Bread

September is when pumpkin season starts for us! Fall is one of favorite parts of the year from scarves and boots, to hot chocolate, to delicious fall harvests - it's such a tasty time of year! And what better way to kick off pumpkin season with a warm, sweet, baked bread. If you want a little shift from your standard pumpkin bread recipe, give this one a try. It doesn't disappoint.

 

I N G R E D I E N T S :

  • 3/4 cup cane sugar
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp flax seed meal
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin spice creamer
  • 2 cup almond flour
  • 1 tbsp Grind Spice Co Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp Rocky Mountain Olive Oil Roasted Walnut Oil
  • Walnuts, chopped

For the topping:

 

I N S T R U C T I O N S :

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a standard bread loaf pan.
  2. Mix all ingredients for the bread (not the topping yet) together and pour into the bread loaf pan.
  3. Place pan in the oven and bake for 40 minutes.
  4. While bread is baking, mix together all ingredients for the topping.
  5. Pour topping over bread after bread has baked for 40 minutes and even spread over the top. Then put bread back in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes - until the bread is cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven, slice up and enjoy!
