Cilantro Sautéed Onions
Turn your bland burgers, steaks, chicken, portabellas from bleh to bangin' by topping them with these delicious grilled onions!
- 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 2 - 3 tablespoon Rocky Mountain Olive Oil Cilantro and Onion Infused Olive Oil
- salt & pepper to taste
Add 1 - 2 tablespoons of Cilantro and Roasted Onion Infused Olive Oil to the bottom of a cast iron skillet - enough to coat. In a bowl, toss onion slices with the remaining olive oil and lightly season with salt and bepper. Place onions in the skillet on medium high heat (if grilling, place on the indirect heat section of your grill).
Every few minutes, toss onions with tongs as they brown and soften. Continue cooking until onions reach the desired level of caramelization and softness.
