Balsamic Glazed Grilled Pineapple
Grilling pineapple gives in an intense, concentrated sweetness. In this recipe, the sweetness is perfectly concentrated by the tangy balsamic and warmth from the spices. Enjoy alongside vanilla ice cream or by itself as a sweet treat!
- 1/3 cup Rocky Mountain Olive Oil Premium Dark Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- ½ teaspoon Grind Spice Co. Creole Seasoning
- 1 pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into ¼ inch thick slices
Heat grill to medium-high.
In a large bowl, add the balsamic, honey and SPICE and whisk to combine. Add the pineapple slice to the bowl a few at a time and toss them to coat with the glaze.
Grill the pineapple until warmed and marked on both sides – about 5 to 7 minutes total, turning halfway through. While the pineapple grills, brush on the remaining glaze to further coat them in deliciousness.
